Welcome back!

We hope you all had a good summer break despite the weather! We are really looking forward to this coming term. We also want to extend a warm welcome to all our new gymnasts & families. We ran a very successful summer course and because of this, most of our sessions now have waiting lists. We have welcomed over 14 new acrobats into our acro squad; we are all very keen to get working on the new NDP7 code.

Rollathon

Thank you!! Thank you!! to every one who took part in our Rollathon. This includes all the gymnasts, parents and friends who rolled, (scary and all as is was to watch!!) made tea, collected names, collected money or helped in any way. The coaches who gave their time free of charge and also tumbled. It was a privilege to have the Mayor & her husband attend. She was very impressed by all your hard work and finally to the MK Lions players who closed the event for us. A huge thanks! The total amount raised to date isThe total amount raised to date is £2000, this included a very generous donation from one family of £500. We are still waiting for more sponsorship to be collected. More Fundraising

Helen Beaumont our new acro coach is raising money at her work place for MK Springers. She has shown them photos of the Rollathon and explained what we are about. The amount raised will be matched by her employers, Mouchel, who work in partnership with MK council. Does your employer run a similar scheme? If they do we are happy to supply any information needed.

Leicester Marathon

Calling all Parents/ Guardians
We would like invite parents/guardians/grandma/grandpa/ older gymnasts, whoever is interested in fundraising for our club. This would involve pooling ideas via e-mail, or over a glass of wine or two!! help running events, applying for grants etc. If you would like to be involved in no matter how small a way then please send us an e-mail and we will put you all in touch with each other. On a personal note, if anyone would take over the grant applications it would be of great help to Felicity
Packing Away
As you are all aware we have to set up and dismantle at every venue. We have many parents who help us with this task but also many who stand and watch. Please can you all help, if you can arrive 15mins earlier to help set up, or help pack everything away at the end of the session? Also if you need to talk to your child’s coach please can you do so after the equipment is packed away? Thank You all.
Dawn Cunild, mother of Lauren, is running the Leicester Marathon on the 19th of October in aid of MK Springers. She will be running a gruelling 26.2 miles! We would like to say a big thank you in advance and please we need lots of people to sponsor her. There will be sponsorship forms at all our venues or just send an e-mail and we will add your name and amount. Good Luck Dawn!

Club Uniform/Tracksuit

We have a stock of leotards, both sleeveless & long sleeved, shorts, fleeces, trousers, & t-shirts. In order for the club to look smart we ask that you order all items from us. Order forms are available from your coach.

Calling all Acro Parents

A Judging course is being arranged in the new year for the new NDP 7 code. Would any of you like to train as judges? We know all judges are unbiased but it does help our marks if we have a friendly face on the panel!! If you are interested let Felicity or Carolyn know.
