Building work begins on new gym

Last month (30th November 2011) we signed a long lease on no 17 Carters Lane, which is  a 10,000 sq ft warehouse that adjoins our existing building, thus doubling our size. Our first major task is to demolish half of the wall between nos 16 and 17.  We decided to have this work done during the Christmas shutdown, so on Sunday morning a large group of parents, gymnasts and friends of the club arrived to clear everything in advance of the builders’ arrival.
