Community Coaching

MK Springers has four Community Sports Coaches

The purpose of the Community Coach role is to bring high quality gymnastics into schools and from there develop School-Club links. Our Community Coaches work with The School Sports Partnership and together we have developed a scheme of work which is being introduced into all the primary schools across Milton Keynes. A Community Coach will spend six weeks in a school delivering gymnastics to all the children, from reception class upwards.

Our four coaches between them provide lessons to over 1,000 children for a six-week block. The class teacher remains with the class thus enabling him/her to carry on delivering high quality gymnastics after the coach has left the school.
