Active communities: Over the past six months Active Communities Bletchley has been supporting the Parent and Toddler sessions at Drayton Park and Knowles Middle Schools. During this time the popularity of the sessions has grown, with a core group of 15 mothers attending each session. The sessions are popular, not only because they provide regular physical activity for the children, but also because they are an opportunity for the mothers to interact with their children and with other mothers from the same area. The main aim of the sessions is to encourage participation in active play for children aged 0-5 years, and this is made possible by Active Communities Bletchley funding MK Springers to deliver the weekly sessions. MK Springers provide play and gymnastics for pre 5s in a safe and comfortable environment, and one that the mothers appreciate and enjoy for their children.

Dear Felicity,

Just a short note to say a 'thank you' for running such a fantastic gymnastic session today.  My daughter, Monica enjoyed playing with the group members very much, and she said to me that she was looking forward to the next session.  I'm sure both you and her coach, Sarah have done a very good job for Monica considering that she was feeling shy and didn't want to join the group at first.  Thanks again for your patience and guidance.
